Typically all I do is zip everything under openbd3.x/ then just upload directly to Amazon Beanstalk. No need to rename it as a war file. Runs on Tomcat fine this way. I have not tried this recently, but I guess that doing this more directly on EC2/Tomcat it would be the same. No need to change to war. -Mark
