I have run into issues with running out of memory processing XML files. What I ended up needed to do was to put this: <cfcontent reset="true" /> periodically throughout my file. That seemed to help in some cases. I don't see it much in my code anymore though, but I converted a lot of things to a cfc I think that helped a lot.
