Yes and for most of that time we had the entire system running on a single VM on the Azure platform, including the database. When we ran out of capacity we simply increased the number of cores and memory. We have since migrated to the Google Cloud Platform and run multiple VMs now.
OpenBD seems to me to be a well kept secret. I have been running businesses using it for about 8 years now and to me it is one of those things that "just works." Kudos to the creators of OpenBD!
