It seems that I had the same issue yesterday evening. But in a different 
way. I changed AD_MESSAGE.xml manually in Eclipse and after testing 
committed the file. Then the central build failed on a diff in a 
completely different part of this file, the diff did not show a visible 
change (so I guess it must have been a end-of-line character). I solved 
this by doing export.database and committing the AD_MESSAGE.xml again.

Btw, I see the same thing in AD_MODULE.xml if I do export.database this 
file is also changed eventhough I did not change the AD_MODULE data. I 
always revert this file as I don't want to commit unintended changes. 
The diff shows the same non-visible change (so when comparing in Eclipse 
it reports a diff/change but when checking I can't see what the change is).
