Hi,
My latest push to the pi repository changes the default behavior of the system. From now on as a default new user
interface windows are shown.
There are 3 ways to override this behavior:
- through a preference (on user, role, system and window level): the 'Use Classic UI Mode' property can be set to Y to
let the system use classic windows. You can set this preference on windows level so it allows a first control on windows
level if a window is new ui enabled
- by passing the mode=classic parameter to the application in the url, this will force a complete classic user interface
(in the new layout), for example:
http://localhost:8080/openbravo/web/org.openbravo.client.application/?mode=classic
- to get the classic layout and classic windows pass the noprefs=true parameter
http://localhost:8080/openbravo/security/Menu.html?noprefs=true
These last two 'tricks' are for internal usage for now and may change in the
future.
The platform team will continue with this topic: we hope to implement logic which automatically determines if a window
can be shown in new mode or not, so that this is done transparently for the user.
