Openbravo for Retail RMP18 is available in the QA Approved status [1] These are some of the new features included in this release:
* Configurable coins / banknotes panel [2]: Allows to setup keypad for any currency from the back-office without the need of a javascript coding. * Auto-completion / instant search [3]: "Show results as one types" for Product, Customers, Receipts and Quotations search fields. * Refactor current model of products and prices [4] to improve performance. * Refactor the code to compute the Sequence Number [4] to improve performance and scalability of the process to calculate the document´s numbers (orders and quotations). * Refactor security model [4] so that WebPOS and Openbravo back-office do not share the session. During this release following module was created / updated: * Gift Cards and Vouchers [5]: Gift Cards include a monetary credit. Gift Vouchers include credit in terms of a list of products or services.
