Hi,

Recently a developer removed a record from the Field tab, and that resulted
in a regression. In a second level tab, he removed the field that pointed
to the ID column of its parent tab. Nowhere in the documentation was stated
that this could not be done (now we have updated it [1]). He reverted the
change and we reported this issue [2] to handle this particular case. As
this might not be the only type of field whose removal carry unexpected
consequences, we have also reported this issue to study them [3].

Now that we know that removing this type of fields breaks the record
creation in grid view, please refrain from doing so. It is also adisable
not to remove the Client, Organization, Active and ID fields until we
finish studying its consequences. Once we are done we will describe the
conclusions in this email thread.

With regards,

Augusto
