I agree it is sub-optimal.  However, given that there is no significant ongoing
code contribution from any non-sysmocom developers, *and* you are a sysmocom 
employee,
that doesn't really support your argument about not knowing about it.

I think the problem here is that you portray yourself as some external, 
non-sysmocom
developer (which you are not).  I see the point you are making, but I don't 
think
you as a sysmocom staff member can really apply that point of view to yourself.
