Hi Rainer, I don't know what happened to my post but it never arrived. I answered that |I just wanted to report here what the problem was |I just added set term=xterm-color in my vimrc and that "switched on" the |syntax highlighting I was looking for |But now I have realised that colorls -G is not working in xterm, I don't |see any colours... mmmh...
