After looking at the manpages for APM(4) & APM(8) on OpenBSD 4.0, it looked
like all I needed to do is enable apmd through /etc/rc.conf.  I wasn't
seeing any entry in dmesg before editing, & I'm still not seeing entries for
apm0 afterwards.  According to the laptop page:

Thinkpad T43's support APM, however I'm seeing some hits on DaemonNews where
T43's have problems with APM on FreeBSD.  Does anyone have any ideas on how
