Hi,

I got a really odd one that has had me stomped for a while.

I got three NICs in a box that is supposed to act as a firewall.
(All MACs are modified in the email, and inet6 addresses removed.)
dc0 has the MAC of 04
rl0 has the MAC of 05
xl0 has the MAC of 06

It does allow ping but when I tried to ssh it said no route to host. So I
looked at the routing table and there I see the MAC of dc0 is actually
showing up as lo0.

Looking further I see there's only dc0 that is on the proper line, the other
two NICs are not even on the table (under their MAC address.

Looking at the hostname files they are all listing their individual IP like
this:

inet 192.168.1.254 255.255.255.0 NONE

It occurred to me that what I'm looking at is actually the MAC of the device
on the other end, thus it does not match the internal NIC. But that does not
explain how the MAC of dc0 shows up as the lo0.
