Hello, I suppose I might be beating a dead horse, in several respects, but is there any way to get this working ? Perhaps I have made a configuration error ? Google searches have not been helpful.
The machine is an old Toshiba Portege 3010ct, running as a firewall/router. The device attached to udav0 is a very inexpensive USB to Ethernet adapter (chip ref: http://www.davicom.com.tw/eng/products/dm9601.htm).
