Sorta. For the "typical" ISP user, (i.e. behind a firewall+NAT)
it still needs coaching in masquerading and smart-hosting, but those
are pretty straightforward tasks -- straightforward because, as you
say, the distributed configuration is quite sane. Using Open, we
get spoiled by this pervasive sanity in the default configuration,
forgetting the hells that are possible.
