Hello,

I tried to compile openoffice3 from ports in 4.5 after a fresh install
from the CDs. It gave me the following problem:

> no
> configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler
> cannot create executables.

I asked in ports@ and got the following answer:

"You need /usr/lib/libc.so.42.0
Of course, the doc says that you should use a package..."

Could somebody be as kind as to decrypt this oracle for me?
