Hi,

>From an earlier mail to this list (or was it openca-users?) I'm told OpenCA
isn't supported on AiX. We have a project running that is going to use
OpenCA, but our main platform is AiX, so it would be best to get it to run
on this platform rather than Linux. I've been given a few days to research
how long it would take to port it to AiX. Does anyone here have any
experience with OpenCA and AiX, or has it never been tried to get it to work
on AiX?

If it turns out to be a matter of replacing a few

 // Some command here

with

#ifdef OS_AIX
 // Some AiX spesific command here
#else
 // Some command here
#endif

... I will be allowed to go through with the port, and I would then share
this with the OpenCA community, if this would be of interest to you.

What does your gut feeling say? Is this a task for a couple of weeks of
work, or months and months?

Best regards,

Christian Rygg
