Guys, as you may know I have been doing some volume testing on 0.9.1-1.
My tests have involved creating 10,000 certificates via the CA batch processes. All has gone well but I am now hitting problems with the certificate export, I hope that someone here in the developers area knows what is going on (I have not posted this to standard users forum). I have edited the 3_VALID_CERTIFICATE.log file so that it contains 1000 - 10000 (this is so that only the first 1000 certs are exported). After 20 minutes of starting the process I can see all of the certificates to be exported apear on the client screen. After a futher 15 minutes I see the message "Exporting Valid Certificates...". The after another hour, the client process stops (i.e. the client browser stops communicating with the server) the screen refereshes itself and goes back to the start. At this point all of the servers memory is being used and the disk is being thrashed, X processes on the server crash (I had kmail and a shell open). No export file is created and I can do nothing apart from stop the "node" process. Has anyone exported this many certs before ? I shall try again but just export a small number to see if this helps.
