you test the code without the complete line. If my understanding is correct then it should work without the line because it is only a blocker for the login session. If the login was successful then we start a new session. So the option must not be resetted. prepare_ident and cgi should have no effect.

ok - i just checked without the line, works fine - so we can just remove it... i will do the update later on today

and i checked it with the secclab for firefox (latest release)
workes just fine then (i used the xul package for windows)...

so we can put this in documentation as alternative
for wamcom.org stuff...

in the user guide a description about browsers and mail clients to mass all the infos about browsers and mail clients at a single position. I think the FAQ is the wrong position for this.

so - should we make an extra point for this?

Where does this reference be? Can you give me a page number or XML file? BTW such minimal changes can everybody perform by itself.

i will remove this from the documentation as well, later on today... and check it in again
