Hi List,
I tested openca-scep with the VPN 3000. and it did not work (could not
open pkcs#7).
After some searching and testing also against a MS-CA I found, that the
concentrator
can not handle des-ede3-cbc enveloped data.
After changing the encryption to simple des-cbc (and inserting the -debug
switch) it wortked fine (also with cisco pix 501 and some routers)
hmm, like micha stated: i think too this is a 'testing-environment'
problem ;o)
since i have confirmed myself and developed the scep interface with an
pix515 and the opensourceclient sscep, and i also have confirmed
feedback for running the scep-module and software with pix501 i think
and Cisco 2600 Router, so i'm quite sure, the VPN 3000 Concentrator can
handle 3des too, anyway - i can ask at the university - if we wanna do
some testing, we have one here too...
but what is working for sure ist the Cisco VPN Client, this is confirmed
by myself... and its working with 3des!
greetings
dalini
