Did you changed the ACL for the interface? The errormessage is from the access control module. This part of the code should only be active because of a real ACL. Nevertheless it is a bug but it would help if I would know the configuration which enforces this error.


BTW I'm preparing a start from scrtch to get this error.

The bug is now open again. I don't know if this is possible but if a normal user can re-open a bug then you can do it.
