Hello Michael's,

Generall question regarding the whole stuff...

As the batch is a seperated interface - is it a good idea to put this into the node management ?

What happens to ppl who run a batch system only and want to export the batch stuff ?

That is a point I am worrying about too.

I postet my directory based export idea some days ago which works pretty fine for me :)
I currently put the directory into a tar archive and than export it via the node interface to the RA to. But as I have definde the place of the tar in the configs, it is even possilbe to export all batch related stuff directly to a floppy...

Is there something in the CVS visible or public? How do you manage to put only "new" enrolled userdata in to the tar, because the directory will grow up quickly?

Anyway, I think it is a good idea to replace the /default/ mails,
where the user is informed to download his certificate, by a mail with the p12 as an
attachment.
With the bp-generated key and certificate the download of just the certificate is
pretty useless,
so the p12 should send directly to the user via email. The p12 is encrypted and so
transport
via email is harmless.

Transportation of the PIN depends always on the environment. If you have an already
enrolled and
installed, valid certificate you can use it to encrypt the PIN. In my Dual-Key-Usage
environment
this certificate will be the Signature certificate.
In other environments a PIN-Letter eg are suitable for transportation of the PIN.
At the moment these are the two possibilities to transport the PIN to the User, so
this should be explicitly supported by the batchprocessor. If somebody
has other ways of transportation in mind, let me know. ;-)

Regards
 Michael
