Yep, I have this in my mind. I want to design a ER-Diagramm next
about how I see a PKI environment. Maybe we can use this as
basis for discussion for future development of OpenCA. ;-)

Such a diagram would be really interesting. I think that 0.9.2 is the last release with a DBM backend but this must be discussed if Max is back from holiday. If we completely move to SQL then we can also write much more robust code for serial generation and for all the small DBM databases. Actually we cannot change the OpenCA::DBI interface because this would break OpenCA::DB.
