Hello! As mentioned before I'm making the Slovene translation of OpenCA. Good for me, since I'm almost finished. But: what I noticed is that many phrases or strings used in the code are not displayed "through" gettext, or to put it correctly, their translated name is not obtained with gettext at all. I checked a bit around and found out the it is the problem that in the OpenCA code, there are places, where there should be a gettext call, and in fact there isn't. I think you know what I mean. The problem is of course in the translation appearing to be bilingual. I have of course noticed this also in the other translations and I'd say that it is quite annoying when somebody wants to have the thing to appear in some language other then English.
So, I was wondering (also considering the fact that compared to the main funcionality of OpenCA, this problem is just a small matter) if there is any intention to fix this things. Like, from the side of the coders of any module or cmd file, that they go through their things and put the nice gettext calls in. Of course, for me one option would be to do this manually for my installation, but then I'd go crazy anytime a new CVS comes out ;-) And also another question on the subject; why doesn't the selection of the default language work? I selected my language to be the default in config.xml, but the OpenCA web interface always starts in english ("C") language. When I switch to my, or any other language it of course works normally, till next login...hm? Thanks for help!
