This feature is documented in the OpenCA guide (Technology guide --> ldap stuff). Should we place this documentation in another section - perhaps admin?
I did not notice until now - I thought it was clearly an 'admin' issue, and this section is a bit short... :-) Perhaps we should just add a pointer to the tech section there.
If the developers don't find the stuff in the documentation then the position is clearly wrong. I moved the configuration completely from the tech area to the admin area. Now you can find the documentation of ldap.xml in the admin guide.
