Hi,

after this weekend the CVS HEAD has full utf8 support for cert subjects. This mean that you can add native characters to cert subjects. This feature was tested with German and Russian characters.

Additonally OpenCA::Configuration was removed. All config data is now in XML if the data is handled by OpenCA. XML::Twig was removed in favour of XML::Simple. the background is simple. There is no longer an own XML cache daemon. All config data is loaded at startup. This should fix a lot of problems.

The developers should notice that get_required and get_required_list are deprecated. Actually the API maps them to get_xpath, get_xpath_count and get_xpath_list.

BTW a nice result is that you can put the complete configuration into a single file - if you want.

Best regards

Michael
