Hi Chris,

now I'm back from holidays :)

Anyway, I am getting back to looking at the CVS head and in particular the shell client interface. My question today is... I have found the "openca-shell-client" and shall examine it more, but it seems to be a menu driven console client. I see in CHANGES that there are plans for more of a server/Command user interface, has thiis been implemented yet ?

The idea was to implement something like OpenSSL's shell. So my idea was to support two ways:

1. openca-shell-client
2. openca-shell-client genCAReq and some options ...

Onfortunately I do not implement the second way until now. It is quite simply but I simply had no time until now. If you want to use a script (e.g. a cronjob) then you can do it via the second way too.

Please see openca-0.9/test/shell/[12345] for some additional informations or ask questions on the list because I can answer them now :)
