Massimiliano,

first of all please excuse that I post with a different email address
now, for some reason I am no longer able to post to the Users and Devel
Mailing Lists with my old email account.

>> this is to announce that with immediate effect I will be

different vision about open source projects and ideas.

With all due respect to you as OpenCA Project Manager, but please
do not allege publicly that we are leaving the OpenCA Project.

Maybe you just misunderstood our statements, so let's paraphrase
it again: We do feel a deep responsibility for the established
user base and the trust people and organizations are putting in the
project.

To say it again and clearly: we have announced to shift development of the
*upcoming* *release* to the OpenXPKI Project. This just means we are
moving the currently unstable development code to this new
environment.

We have explicitly stated that all of us will *continue* to support the
stable 0.9.2 branch of OpenCA both on the Mailing List and
by maintaining the code base e. g. for bug fixes.
Which means that we will remain with the OpenCA project for some time.

For the sake of the project I would like to ask you not to confuse the
users with undue allegations about developers abandoning the
project.

> We all wish the new project to have a successful and long life.

Thanks a lot.

Kind regards,

Martin
