Have just submitted a patch (bug # 1378831):
If config.xml contains utf8-encoded data (e.g. ca_organization
value),
when starting OpenCA, module OpenCA::XML::Cache reports: "Wide character in send ..." and system doesn't start. This patch solves the problem.
