I am sorry, but it happens I have no time to answer mails quickly -- really
it is not my fault, simply I don't have time. I'll try to answer quickly...

The error could be generated by an error in Netscape's verification of the
signer's certificate. To check it go to the Netscape Security window, your
certificates and select the one used for signing. Then use the verify button
to check if it has been correctly imported and if Netscape can correctly
verify it -- if not, probably, you did not imported the CA's certificate
into Netscape before having the user certificate imported (or the CA's
certificate is simply missed).
Try to import the whole chain till the "verify" in Netscape correctly works.
( You may need to delete, as final try, the cert db and re-import the CA
certificate and THEN the user certificate).
Hope this will solve the problem.
