Hi there.

Just a tad more info . .
I've gotten the server audit logs. Well, it looks like:

time: 20010806154917
dn: uid=dwb7,ou=people,o=cornell university,c=us
changetype: modify
replace: usercertificate;binary
usercertificate;binary:: MIIE9zCCA9+gAwIBAgIBATANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQQFADB5MQswCQYD
 VQQGEwJVUzEbMBkGA1UEChM (and rest of cert here)

Looking at: http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/LDAP-Implementation-HOWTO/certificates.html

I see one difference (other than my having changed the add to a modify). Their example
has:
dn: cn=user,ou=people,dc=yourorg,dc=com
 changetype: modify
 add: usercertificate
 usercertificate;binary:: MIIC2TCCAkKgAwIBAgIBADANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQQFADBGMQswCQYD
  VQQGEwJJVDENMAsGA1UEChMES

Note the add/modify request itself doesn't have the ;binary on it. Mine does. Is that
the source of my problems?

Also, as I said before, if I browse the tree, what should the cert look like?

Thanks!
