Hi,

normally this is a question to the openca-devel-list but the change is
very critical because no running system will still work after the
change.

So what do I want to do?

I want to change the name of the requests which are imported into the CA
from PENDING_(REQUEST|CRR) to APPROVED_(REQUEST|CRR). This has several
reasons:

1. the requests were approved by the RA Operator
2. the state of the request will only change to archived or deleted
3. approved is unused on the CA until now
4. we have a better internal design (states will mean at every time the
same thing, actually the states on the RAServer and on the CA have
different meanings!)
  actual:  pending->approved-- (export) -->pending->(archived|deleted)
  new:     pending->approved-- (export) -->approved->(archived|deleted)
  so if there is no logical action then there is no statechange
5. we could use for testing a single database and in the future it is no
problem to setup an online-CA for demonstrationsystems or for a real PKI
if you own a HSM.

So the question to the users is, do someone have a problem with this
change?

The change will be performed if Massimiliano is back (around the 13.
August from the IETF-meeting in London). This is the reason of the
problems with the support for the users of the DB-module too.
