Regarding the problem I posted earlier. I have determined that there is a problem with my installation of Apache that is causing this problem. I am not able to access any pages via http. Before I start reinstalling / recompiling apache, are there any modules which OpenCA installs which are intended to "bump up" the connection to a https connection?
