We are experiencing the exact same problem described by Pramila Rani in a posting on February 11, 2002. We hang when confirming the approval of a user certificate.
We are using 0.81 since this is for a small production deployment. We hope to eventually make this a very large project. Since it is production, we chose the "stable" release rather than a snapshot.
In our ignorance (we are new to OpenSource, Linux and not particularly skilled in Perl), we eventually installed properly (we had to comment out a call for the dn parameter when generating the CA cert - the rest was all our fault).
Now that we are up and running, we were thrilled to issue our first user cert. We click on Pending Requests / Certificate Requests; choose the appropriate RA; click on the serial number of the pending cert request; click on "Approve Request"; proceed to the confirm screen; click on "Approve Request" and then nothing happens.
