Ok. Let's start searching :)
Please go to the script issueCertificate and enter at the beginning the
following line:
$cryptoShell->{DEBUG} = 1;
The module should display now the command which try to enrypt the mail.
My problem is that your error.log contains no errormesage from OpenSSL
which normally means that all is ok.

P.S. I would recommend you to update from CVS. I added a
CRIN-maildirectory and I added additional information in OpenSSL.pm.
