We still haven�t solved this problem. We compiled openca-openssl again
without using perl Makefile.PL, but we still can�t change the passphrase.
Please, any other suggestions?

The mistake is "perl Makefile.PL" because we set some configuration
options if we do this. You can find these options in
Makefile.global-vars after ./configure. The relevant variable is
PERL_MAKEFILE_OPTS.
