Hi,

the Schema of Novell eDirectory defines for every object
the object type in which this object can be contained.
An object type which can't contain other objects
is called leaf object type.
As far as I know this is not a Novell specific implementation,
but X.500 standard.
I'm not sure, but I think Microsoft Active Directory has the same
limitation.

I can't find the feature to import a certificate to a specified DN.
Is this function newer than 10.4.2002, because I use a CVS
download from this date.

Best regards

Udo Whler

What is a leaf in LDAP? I never read about such a limitation. Does
Novell use different definitions for objects? Leaves and nodes like in
B*-Trees?

You can add the certificate to the LDAP via the button on the RA where
you can store the certificate under a special DN (simply remove the
serialNumber).
