[Openca-Users] PIN length

i have to reduce the PIN lenght from 10 char (default value) to 8 char
(maximum number of char my card system can support).
Is this possible ? and if so how ??
i have tried to look at the conf file but i didn't find anything revelant !
 
another question is about the PIN Random generation. is it possible to make the RA
generate the PIN number himself and send it in cleartext to the user
(by mail or store it to a file and then print it to a safe paper).
