Guys,

I have searched the archives and can't find any pointers for me...

I am getting to the point where I want to secure admin access to the LDAP
directory, so this will mean using some form of encryption of the password
that OpenCA uses to write the certificates. At the moment the LDAP admin
password is stored in the clear in the slapd.conf and the OpenCA ldap.conf
files, these are only accessable by root so that is fine, but the password
will be sent in the clear to the LDAP server.

I have been through the OpenLDAP guides and there seem to be many ways to
achieve this goal (SASL, TLS etc). Can anyone let me know what forms OpenCA
can use (or what you guys have used in the past), just a hint will do then I
can concentrate on setting it up.

Many thanks

Chris...
