Hi all,This is possible but a little bit difficult. If you want to know how a backup must look please do the following:
during my attemps to setup openca, I created serveral certificates which were stored in the Database and also kept in the .../certs directory. If my Database get destroyed without having a valid backup, is it possible to recreate the database by using the kept certs? (in ../cacerts, ../certs)
1. setup a test openca
2. create some certificates (2-3 are enough)
3. create a backup with OpenCA's backup function
4. have a look at the generated files on the export/import-device
5. create such a backup manually
You must only create the files for CA_CERTIFICATE/VALID and CERTIFICATE/VALID in your case.
