first, which modification do you perform in TRIStateCGI.pm?

Second, I found a way to create an appropriate request with OpenSSL, so we come closer to a solution. OpenSSL need the following string to create a correct request:

/C=IT/O=FedericoII/description=C\=Baudo/OU=Internet/CN=Pippo\[EMAIL PROTECTED]

OpenCA's RFC2253 representation of this is:

[EMAIL PROTECTED],CN=Pippo\/Baudo,OU=Internet,description=C\=Baudo,O=FedericoII,C=IT

The next step is that I integrate your changes to accept \, / and = in DNs. After this I can fix the problem with the request generation.
