Dears,

there must be hints into the mail archive of openca-user-lists to use IE6.x with 
SRVPCK 1 or higher.
I tried it before and it works. 
I'm not completely shure but this may be the "trick":

   -> The generation failed. And you find in apache-log: that you client will downlod
   /cgi-bin/pub/xenroll.dll. You need to do download the patch q323172 from microsoft 
and
   save on disk: q323172_W2K_SP4_X86_DE.exe, install.
   You need to reboot.

When I test again using IE6.x with W2k and SRVPCKs, I can publish these steps in more 
detail

I do not know about openCA, but I encondered a simliar XEnroll
issue. They changed the Class ID and Version number for dll
information.
