This is an area I have also just started looking into. I have noticed that if 
you view a certificate via the RA screen and use the link to go to the CSR 
then there is a field called "Used Identification PIN". In this field is what 
looks like a hashed value of the PIN (I think). I wonder where it is hashed 
and if you can get to the original PIN anywhere.
