Hi everyone ,

Hi,

I have a simple question , but extremely important .

If we can, we will answer you... :-D

I will start a project to create a Certificated Autority and all
necessary things to make a PKI system for the state that I work for .

This is exaclty the place where to look at...

So I need to know how mature is the OpenCA to do that .
If all works fine will be integrate with other Digital Signature system
in my country .

I can say the software is quite mature. Indeed it is always under development and things change rapidly.

What I can say is that you need, to have it working, a good technical staff.
Things work, but it could be not so easy to have them working in "untested"
or "special" environment.

Also, I would say, you have to plan your actions by:

        1. Refining your requirements (what do you want the PKI to do exactly
and what your real goals for your project are).

        2. Choose the OpenCA version you want to use (check for statements from
           point one).

        3. Check if missing requirements can still be met within your timings
(the project is opensource and it is easy to implement new features).

4. Take your decision.

We can not guarantee anything as all the project is built from voluntary
contributed resources. My thought is that if you have a good working team
then OpenCA can easily be modified (if needed) to meet your requirements.
