Hi Nick,

succeded to install latest snapshot (openca-0.9-SNAP-20030820) only after deinstalling the original perl-modules from SuSE (Digest::MD5, gettest and CGI::Session) and using the OpenCA-modules!

This is frustrating beause this means that my code to detect and ignore already installed module doesn't work. Do you have a protocol from the problematical installations?

Looks great the new look!

Thanks :)

Sorry, but now it is far to slow! I think it takes too long to execute "serverInfo", when I choose a menu item. Can't it be cache in the session?

The serverInfo is not the problem because this command is only used once at the beginning. The problem is genMenu which is too slow because it needs to much parameters (up to 100).

We actually work on such tricks like a caching daemon. Until now we don't cache data in the session itself but it is an idea and I put it on my todo (we use cookies already so it should be possible to cache data in the session). We know that OpenCA is to slow. So we are thankful for every idea how to speed up it.

And I get no submit button when I enter the company-info to generate the first CA-request nor the OpenCA-logo nor my company-logo!?

Sounds like two issues in one sentence. Which submit button do you mean? The logos will be configured in config.xml and the names of the options have changed (menu_logo_left and menu_logo_right).

Michael

P.S. I create a new snapshot in some minutes. So you can take a look at the caching daemon.
