Apparently there is something wrong with gettext;
I have a similar error with SSLeay.pm missing in @INC.
I suggest you clean up the whole and start from
scratch whilst eliminating dependencies such as
gettext which needs to have a certain version.
I was suggested to use the 9.2 version which
is apparenty close to stable state - nevertheless
I have problems myself ;-)). I was explicitly suggested
** NOT ** to use the 9.3.1 one but the 9.2 one from CVS.
