Debugging this further it breaks when trying to convert the CA certificate from PEM with "OpenCA::OpenSSL::X509::_new_from_pem" this just returns an empty certificate.
I used your CA cert to test the relevant module in 0.9.2 but which version do you use exactly? I have to know this because some time ago I fixed several bugs which produce such nice blank screens and before I start searching I want to check the CHANGES file.
