 I have a litle missunderstanding regarding modules-id. openca-guide
states that I may change ra-module-id etc via configure and ID of CA is
every time 0.

Do I understand correctly that modules IDs should be unique?

Yes, the must be unique inside one CA.

This means
that I must change ra-module-id if I want to have two RA servers.

Yes.

But if
I want to have one root CA and one sub-ordonate CA, what is the CA
module ID of sub-ordonate CA?

0. If you setup a sub CA then you must setup a completely seperate OpenCA too. This OpenCA installation has nothing to do with the installation of the root CA.
