Hi, I'm looking for some suggestion for the backup of my CA.
Actually I'm testing the debian packages of the latest CVS SNAPSHOT;
I do a regular backup of the database with the folloing command called
from a cron daily job:
fdate=`date +%y%m%d`
ofile=/var/backups/postgres/backup_$fdate.pgc
pg_dump --file=$ofile --format=c --create --inserts --column-inserts --blobs ca_db
This will backup the database.
I found there is a backup.xml file where the procedure to burn CD is
indicated. How can create backup using this infos? I found the
script openca-backup does not work (maybe is a distrubuion related
problem).
BTW the backup link in the node interface let me to backup only the
database.
I would to burn CD for dataexchange too, but I found in the
/etc/openca/servers 2 places I have to modify ca.conf and node.conf.
Which should be modified?
Thanks
Alessandro
