finally we succeeded five minutes ago to get the errormessage "unknown login type". There was a mistake in our installation which creates the XML cache socket with UID root. Don't ask me how this can happen. Please verify that this socket is not owned by root. It must be owned by the apache user.
To solve the problem you can stop openca with openca_stop or "openca_rc stop". Then you have to remove the socket "OPENCADIR/var/tmp/openca_xml_cache". After this you start openca again and please verify that the rights are now correct. We think that we have a corrupted passwd but it can happen too if you specify a wrong user.
