Hi guys !

So .. this is a question that not involves directly openca software.
My (little)problem is :
I'm trying to set up an OpenCA 0.9.1-7 distribution on RedHat 9 i686. I'm
trying to install OpenLDAP software but in phase "make test" the result of tests
is the next:
Initiating LDAP tests for BDB...
>>>>> Executing all LDAP tests...
>>>>> Test Directory: .
>>>>> Backend: bdb
>>>>> Starting test000-rootdse ...
running defines.sh
Datadir is ./data
Cleaning up in ./test-db...
Starting slapd on TCP/IP port 9009...
Using ldapsearch to retrieve the root DSE...
Waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start...
Waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start...
Waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start...
Waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start...
Waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start...
Waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start...
./scripts/test000-rootdse: line 57: kill: (22209) - No existe tal proceso (No
such process exist)
ldap_bind: Can't contact LDAP server (81)
>>>>> Test failed
>>>>> ./scripts/test000-rootdse failed (exit 1)
make[1]: *** [test-bdb] Error 1

It looks like slapd doesn't start up, does it?

I've trying with openldap-2.1.25 and 2.2.4 but the result always is the same.

Is this problem caused by RH-9 distribution ?
What do I must consider for OpenCA installation on this distribution?
Someone has made it before?

Thanks in advance

Zainos
