Hi and thanks for your answer,
I tried your tip and started
/var/lib/OpenCA/etc/openca-start
I received this error and - naturally - the ca is still not working
Error while loading configuration
(/var/lib/OpenCA/etc/servers/common.conf)!Content-type: text/html
Error while loading configuration
(/var/lib/OpenCA/etc/servers/common.conf)!
The problem is your installation. Usually we expect that a user installs an offline CA and some online components. Therefore we expect that a user installs a node interface. This node interface links common.conf to it's configurationfile. Older releases do this with all interface but this is a problem for package maintainers :(
The result is that you have two options. First you can install a node interface with "make install-node" or second you can simply create anew symlink from etc/servers/ca.conf to etc/servers/common.conf.
Perhaps it is a good idea to create this symlink dynamically in openca_start? I will check this today.
Please don't use the instructions from Harald for 0.9.1 if you install 0.9.2. This creates only more confusion. Perhaps we have a new step by step example in the future if somebody can contribute this. I know that someone works on this but I don't know the state.
